A Spring wedding at a beautiful venue, Coombe Abbey in the heartland of Warwickshire.
This spectacular venue is the perfect wedding venue with beautiful gardens, tranquil lake and Cistercian Abbey.
The place is an unsurprisingly popular wedding venue but it was my first time there as a photographer.
It was the wedding of Joe and Kate who contact over a year ago to book my photography services.
I arrived early, travelling from Manchester to photograph Kate’s preparations a few hours before the ceremony. The bedroom was quite small with little amount of space to cover the bride’s prep, nevertheless, the room wasn’t too crowded.
Once Kate was ready, it was time to head to Abbey Gate to catch up with Joe and the guests. Abbey Gate is very dark and atmospheric with the room beautiful lit with candles. After the ceremony, it was time for some photo sessions in the beautiful gardens by the lake.
The reception was a Medieval banquet with the catering staff dressed in full Medieval attire.
My coverage ended with a firework display.
